I'm going for an echo stress test Thursday. I have some symptoms of either a heart or kidney problem. My prayer is that we are catching this early enough that diet and exercise is enough to take care of it. My hope is that this won't need surgery and result in loosing my job/insurance.

Heavenly Father,
I pray for Marcus.'s upcoming stress test, that it provide results to a doctor of what medical condition he is living with, and that there might be some preventative measures he could take to reverse things and not necessitate any large medical bills. Also, that You guide him in who to talk to should he need to find a better policy or insurance provider.

Please bring complete healing, give him wisdom in maintaining his health, new insight that will make a difference. Raise up friends and family who are also willing to live healthier lives so that they may encourage one another in it.

Reach into those deep places and stir something in him that excites him and that gives him a renewed passion in his walk. Holy Lord, please be with Marcus during his stress test. Help the doctors identify any problem that might be affecting his health, so that it might be treated early. Lord, if there is anything wrong with him, please place your healing hands upon Marcus so that he might not have to suffer through surgery or any other treatment. Bless his body with good health, and help to keep him strong and fit so that he might be a testement to your glory and love.

I pray the test will clearly reveal any problem there maybe.

Thank you all for all your prayers. I truly appreciate them. I'm getting ready to go for the test and I'll update you when I return.
Whether the prayers are answered with a yes or no, God is God and the answer doesn't change it.

Keep him protected from any problems.
I pray he will remain calm and the test will go quickly.

Good news so far. The test went well. I didn't have any pains (except for the one in my thigh from pumping the cycle). I actually felt good when we got done. I guess some of my aches and pains are from lack of exercise.
I asked the techs if I should be expecting a callback today but they said it looked ok to them. The doc should see it tomorrow or Monday and will give me the final verdict.
Thank you all again for your prayers. They lifted me up and touched me for your concern.
