It has been said to help with weight loss, but you need to combine it with healthy eating and exercise. You didn't gain the weight overnight, you're not going to lose it overnight either. I think there's a limit to the amount you'd be able to drink at any one time. I'd suggest a couple of tablespoons 2 or 3 times a day.

I experienced weight loss, but I was doing a lot more than just drinking vinegar. You need to take a look at how you are eating and exercising. And you do want to stick with raw vinegar (like Bragg's) and not the pasteurized stuff you find in most grocery stores.

I would like to get my husbnd to drink this stuff, but he is picky about forcing nasty stuff past his palette. I'm not sure if the green tea mix would work, perhaps I will try it. Is there something else that people have been enjoying it mixed with? (sorry I just cant read all the posts in here). Last winter I tried it but it dried out my sinuses so bad. Now my husband's sinuses could use a clear up.

My hubby has started drinking it again. He did for a while, but then once the headaches cleared up he stopped, so now he's at it again since the morning headaches returned. My employer (a dr.) has started drinking it as well. I've gotta keep him well and healthy because if he's sick and can't work, neither can the rest of us!!!!

How's Mr. monamie doing with the vinegar? I ran out and missed a couple of days last week. Felt great to get back on track. Do you think I could have a vinegar "Jones"?

I have stopped drinking vinegar, but am going to start again either this evening or tomorrow morning.

Mr. monamie forgets about half the time. But now that things are getting back to normal around here I'll make sure he keeps it up.

I think that for Mona "normal" means having electricity and not being icebound for a week.

I have a question: What's a regular "Jones" anyway? I'm almost afraid to ask.

This is what Kerr is referring to. quote:
Jonesing, craving, originally referring to drug addiction, but now extended tongue-in-cheek to include cravings for food and drink

I have felt that way about vinegar before. And alkaline broth (I'm drinking a pint of that right now---with extra habaneros.)

I just read through this WHOLE thread! Do I win a prize? I'm going to try it. I've got some "regular" cider vinegar in the cabinet. If I can halfway stand that, I'll look for the unpasteurized stuff. I love potent pickles and so forth, so I shouldn't have too much problem with it!

Add me to the list of regular ACV users...Lol... My goaties get it too year round to prevent UC; and my horse gets it in the summer to help keep fly irritation down.
