Terri, in December are Christmas, my birthday (#51), and lots of cold cold weather. I hate hot humid weather, and here in Jersey that's all we have from June to late September. So about this time every year I start to get fed up with the heat, humidity, tourists (I live in a seaside city), and general yuck and ick of summer and start pining for cold and snow.

Shar-Mar, wait til you see the next one, if I can get it sized right. It made me laugh out loud when I saw it.

I'm only going to be here in the threads for just a few more minutes; then I need to get started with my day. I'm hoping it's going to be quite more productive than yesterday. Yesterday, I had some things come up that required my attention and seemed like they were more time-consuming than any productive.

Status: offline 		Morning, All! I got my textbooks yesterday...
AFTER driving 45 minutes to a campus that I won't see again until next semester when I need books again, because they don't HAVE a bookstore at the branch campus in my po-dunk lil town.
And AFTER waiting in line for another HOUR because again they don't HAVE a bookstore at the branch campus and EVERYONE from BOTH CAMPUSES were there trying to get books.
So then I drive another 45 minutes home (this is AFTER working EIGHT HOURS, btw) to have my kids say, "What's for dinner????"
After I went to my room and "vented" to my pillows, I went and fixed my lovely children (who, btw, are old enough and KNOW HOW to cook) dinner....
THAT MY FRIENDS WAS THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ME AND MY CREW!!!

Well, Trish, he has since changed it, but the animated one he had up earlier was the cartoon Calvin & Hobbes. Hobbes was attacking Calvin (or so it looked like).

Status: offline 		Currently it's a picture I took a few years ago of a mussel shell sitting inside a scallop shell sitting inside a large clam shell. I need to find a way to shave 3mb off of a .gif file so I can post the calvin & hobbes one I want to use. Photoshop won't do it and Microsoft paint doesn't save the motion in it.
