Tea and crumpets don't bother me. I am of the understanding that the survival rate is much higher.

Fascinating. The Mount family comes from London, too (maybe we're related!), but it has bee quite a while since they came over (in the 1600s). So I'm pretty thoroughly American now.

Wow! If you had tea with the Queen, you must be a Prince or a Duke or something. Which is it?

And I must admit I'm not entirely certain what a Crumpet is.

Thanks. It looked nice, but tasted strangely like I'd expect a TV or Computer Screen to taste.

Try an Americian English Muffin. You'll get the same taste. The taste of a crumpet and not the monitor screen. Some stores sell a product with the name crumpet on it, but it's still an Americian English Muffin.

I can just see Brandon on the bus eating an english muffin in front of Tim and Doug calling it a crumplet. They would be laughing so loud that it would wake Jeremy up in the back of the bus.

Hey I just wanted to take a second to let you know how much your song "He Will See You Through" has meant to me and my wife. It has become our anthem! I first heard it when I came to see you'll New Years Eve. I am a homebuilder and have been sitting on two spec houses for almost a year. During this time we had our first child, an awesome little girl, an unbelievable gift from God!! We decided that my wife would work part time from home after the birth and this cut her pay in half. So with the loans on two spec houses, our mortgage, utilities at all houses etc. it has been a trying time. We prayed long and hard before starting the houses and before deciding to have my wife work part time, and we had a peace about both decisions. So when I heard the words in this song that say "He will not guide where he will not provide" it just grabbed my heart and reinforced God's grace, love, provision, and faithfulness. He is faithful He is good and He has provided mine and my families every need so far and I have every confidence in His promise that he will continue to do so!! Thank You for your ministry, this song and the encouragement it has been! God is still working and strengthening my reliance on Him but I am so happy that I have Him at my side and the knowledge that if I follow Him, He will see me through!!

May God bless you steelctyfn! Thank you so much for the kind words. Its people like you that bring encouragement to groups like us. When I wrote that song i had no idea what kind of impact it would bring to people across the country and even to our group. It's a simple truth that many of us overlook on our day to day walk with Christ. Yes, we KNOW that he will never leave us or forsake us but do we BELIEVE it? Knowing and believing are two different things. I am glad that you believe as well as know that God will never lead you into a situation that He is not going to see you out of! Thank you again my friend and I pray that this song will continue to minister!
Brandon

I saw the old paths at gold city's homecoming friday night...and WOW!! They tore the "house" down. Awesome job. I told one of my friends, who had never heard them live, that they were really good and he was amazed from the first song. It was great.

Great people too! I had the opportunity to talk with all the guys, very genuine ministry minded folks. I enjoyed short convo i had with Brandon at the product table as we were all waiting out the storm.

If your church ever wants a great quartet...book these guys!

We saw the Old Paths at Gold City's Homecoming Friday night and wanted to say how great they were. From listening to the tracks that Daniel made available a couple months ago on his blog, I expected them to be very good, but they blew me away. Besides the vocals, one of the group's strengths is song selection, working in older stuff with their original songs. They were also very friendly. My wife and I stopped by their table a couple of times, getting to talk to Brandon before the concert and Jeremy during the weather delay. Can't wait to see them again.

Brandon...

Lisa and I were the ones with the red back, Church Of God published, Baptist used Hymn Book. I believe you signed page 134, "I'll Have A New Life," also signed by Les Beasley.
