Thank you for knowing the hurdles faced by the disabled. Draw them closer to you in ways that will help them. Help them in ways that will glorify you. In Jesus Christ's name I ask this. Amen.

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; asking for Your blessings to be poured out on all the disabled today. May they recognize Your presence when You are empowering them with the strength and determination it takes to complete a task. Help them Father God, not to feel like they are burdening their caregivers. But instead to realize what a blessing they are and an inspiration they are to us! Thank You, that You've allowed us the privilege to learn from them. And please remind us that they all are a big part of YOUR plan! I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.

Dear Lord,
I agree with this prayer for all disabled, but I in particular think of Mike in the nursing home and his dear wife and how they praise you for little things that I take forgranted. I thank you Lord for those who are different from us and the wonderful ways that you use them for your glory. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Lord,
Please remember Mike and Sadie today. Mike cannot lie on his back due to pressure sores, and I pray you would heal those, I also pray for his wife, Sadie who isn't feeling well. Lord please remember Lila, she's in a desperate state of hopelessness and just wishing she were with you. She has so much in her life to overcome health-wise and now in the hospital. I don't understand the reasons why some have so much suffering to endure, but Lord I know you have your reasons, so I just pray for comfort and peace and healing for her, and if she is trusting in church membership and not you, I pray you would show her that before it is too late. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

I join Cindy in her prayer, and as she says I do not understand why some suffer so much on this earth. However, even though I do not understand, I trust You for everything. Please be merciful Father and intervene in the lives of these who suffer and hurt. Help them in every way that You know is best and today give them comfort and peace. I pray that if any of these mentioned by Cindy are not Christians that You will draw them, soften their hearts and spirits, and bring them to acceptance of Jesus as Savior. Bless them and keep them in Your loving care.

Lord,
I lift up Lila to you today. I know that you understand our desperation and already know that she does not want to live any longer in the condition she is is. Lord, she has suffered through cancer and only has one eye left, she has suffered with her knees and circulation and now has broken her hip and is bedridden. Please help her to see a purpose in her life, even in this hard time. Help her to know you love her and help her to find a way to see beyond herself to love others, especially the little lady you put in the room with her who has less mobility than she has and really needs her kindness. I ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Father, I join my sisters in agreement for Lila and the little lady that just moved into her room.
My heart breaks for our elderly who suffer so much physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Please help these ladies be a comfort to each other and bring them close to Your heart, Lord.
