I have thought it was Mark all along. There are so many biblical references (like last night Jon saying "Oh ye of little faith") and Mark is one of the gospels. A last week when Clay would not do the task of walking in his boxer shorts looking for clothes, Mark was quick to jump by his side and say "Me too."

I thought the whole not walking in his boxers was very suspicious, too. Last time the mole was the older guy, so it would be kind of nice if it's someone completely different this time but it doesn't really matter, I suppose. I just want to be in suspense a while longer.

Here is the link to the website. I didn't watch the whole episode last week, and haven't yet read the synopsis. Let's just say there was a Journal issue last week which really switched up the competition. I have been wondering if a reason that ABC hasn't had a The Mole show every season is because the mole was discovered too soon in the season. It wouldn't make good TV if everyone knew who the mole was after week 2 or 3 because no one would be eliminated for not knowing Who. I realize there is a timing component to the quiz, but if the mole was that obvious to the contestants, s/he would also be obvious to the viewers. KWIM? The first season the mole was a female attorney. Could the Mole be Nicole?

ORIGINAL: peculiar_lady2 sorry I am not up on the happenings this week...had family in town and was in the hospital a few days having a baby. So can anyone give me a basic run down of the last show and who got booted so I can change the poll? thanks Wait - How did I miss this??? - You had family in town because you were having a baby, and you're interested in a basic rundown of the last show???? And if I'm correct there are 4 other peculiar_lady babies vying for mommy's attention? Forget the show! Get some sleep! Congratulations on baby - But the next time you post - give details, please!

You had a full house for sure! That's a long time in the hospital these days. Are you and your newest born OK? I think you can watch previous episodes online from the link I posted above. Of course, that may or may not be feasible depending on your connection speed.

I don't think the mole is on cbs, is it? Congratulations!

I also thought that was silly that they did not do the challenge. They were all ready to jump off a water fall but to wear funny costumes??? I thought they would have enjoyed it.

I think it the difficulty of getting uphill in those costumes. My suspect at this time are either Nicole or Mark.

The Mole, btw, is on ABC. I don't blame them for not "playing." The task was much too difficult to accomplish under the best of circumstances. The donkey had to be led, not ridden. Stilts? Costumed together? Most of these people would probably have some kind of exercise regimen whereby they could easily gauge if they could actually run/walk the distance in the time frame. Add the hindrances, and calculate the results, and it would be easy for them to conclude that it was just not worth the effort. Plus - is anyone else getting that Craig has been such a behind the scenes, easy going guy, that it's easy to ignore that he might actually BE the mole? After last night's episode, he's rising on my list of suspects.

An peek a Craig's bio at: http://abc.go.com/primetime/themole/index?pn=hostbio#t=contestant&d=107946 Craig plans on using his endearing nature and non-threatening appearance to win the players' trust and then manipulate them. Craig knows his physical limitations, but says this can be an asset in the game because everyone will underestimate him. He hopes to surprise everyone with his abilities. Craig has sleep apnea, so he must sleep with a special machine to help him breathe while sleeping. Craig has traveled extensively and worked as a humanitarian disaster relief aide worker in Turkey and Thailand. Everyones bio is there along with a chance to take the quiz an The Mole's Journal...which had lead me to think what if the Mole is using their journal...like a fake journal.

Craig is my second choice for mole and might end up being number one before the next show. But I hesitate to put him first since he seems a little too obvious.

I really enjoyed the show last night. I thought the two missions were interesting and especially liked the one where they had to find the wine bottles. Paul looked kind of suspicious. He gave the runners the wrong coordinates, and seemed like he was trying to distract Nicole while she was trying to solve the puzzles. Mark was very helpful with the puzzles which makes him seem less moleish. I think it could easily be Paul or Nicole, but I'm not really leaning toward Mark anymore. I wouldn't entirely rule Craig out, because of the way he got his exemption last time and because he's the most unlikely. And Clay I'm just not sure about...

I've thought it was Craig for the past few episodes, though I've still got my eye on him, I'm being to get suspicious of Clay. He's too quiet and doesn't seem to do as much "mole-like" behavior as the others. Which brings me to something I wondered about while watching the show last night. If most of the contestants act like the mole and even sabotage some the of missions in order to be strategic with their gameplay, what's the use of having a player be the actual mole to begin with? Then again that's the whole point to find out who it really is. I hope it isn't Paul. I'm getting somewhat tired of his drama. He boasts that he loves pushing people's buttons, and when they push back (Nicole with her threats, Clay with throwing the lemon) he's all complainy. True, what they did may not have been the nicest thing, but not all people are going to react how he expects them to. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Anyhoo, I agree about the missions last night being some of the best. I like the wine hunt one, too. Kudos to Mark, I couldn't have kept up that pace. Also to Alex and Clay, to run all over a hot and dusty vineyard took some stamina.
