Last night was taco soup, tonight will be leftover taco soup, and the cornbread muffins that I didn't make for last night.

I think we'll have pork chops for dinner tonight. I never used to buy pork, but lately I've been buying whatever is on clearance and being satisfied with that.

Sort of Leftover Beef Stew- Sunday, I cooked a roast with potatoes, carrots, onions, and mushrooms in the crockpot and creamed peas. After we ate, I cut all the meat and veggies up and stirred the peas into it. It doesn't seem leftover that way.

I have a chicken in the frige so I am making chicken and dumplings and I also have some sweet potatoes that need to be used, so I am going to make sweet potato muffins, but I want biscuits so I am going to make those too, and some kind of cooked vegetables.

My plans changed...my neighbours gifted me some lovely fresh cucmber from their garden, so I chopped it up with some vine tomatoes and feta for Greek salad. Delicious, and easy!

Why do I come here and torture myself reading about all these good foods??

I had a Ruben sandwich and steamed veggies when I was out with a friend between Election Judge training and Church Board meeting. It was very good but that was hours ago! I think I'll have a couple nice big glasses of water and go to bed.

Me too - just so yummy, especially with home grown veggies!

Tonight I am going out for Thai food, and my friend is treating (returning a favour). I love Thia food, and Thai food that doesn't hit my budget is even better!

I need to come up with something. I was thinking of making pizzas, but by the time I buy all of my ingredients, I could order pizza and not have to turn on my oven. I can't believe the prices of food lately. When it is cheaper to eat out than to cook at home, that is wrong.

If I make pizza, I load it with veggies, ham, and a couple of typs of cheeses. Plus the sauce or garlic butter instead of sauce.

Ok, I had a sandwich, the girls had cereal. Jake ate by his dad's and my husband had hot dogs. It was soccer night. But my pizza idea is happening tomorrow. I bought two really big pizzas from Sam's club. So for less than what I could make one of those for, I got two. I am just craving pizza.
