Has she finally recovered from your house guest last December????

Oh yes, for the house guest, I'm just kidding. You know she does read these posts every once in a while.

I just about have her back to normal. Maybe another month or two.

Kath this dog has made up her mind about who is supposed to do certain jobs. Mrs. Qtman can take her out to wee wee but that is all she will do. Unless the pressure just gets to be more than she can stand she will wait for me to take her out for the other. Mrs. Qtman can take her out at 4:45 and she will not go potty. I can take her out five minutes later and that is the first thing she does. You are right. Dogs are silly.

my dog uses pee pads at night. When the sun goes down, bluedog knows not to go scratching at the door. Same when I am at work.

I love pee pads.

Reading the last sentence in a post without reading the rest can be misleading sometimes. Just wanted to share that.

My bathroom is only a few steps away. I don't need pee pads.

Miss Audrey uses the same things. I refuse to get up at 3am so she can spend an hour finding the "perfect spot" in the backyard to go potty and I can't imagine having to "hold it" while I am at work all day is very healthy - especially when I have to work late or have errands after work... When I'm home, I put the pads up, but otherwise...

I must say that I really love cats.... They are so much easier!

ACK! I can't keep up anymore.

I love all the boat names y'all came up with. Very fun. I finally came up with one: Salutation.

Kerrlaw, looks like your old hairy roommate in college was actually just a sasquatch costume.

Glad your back cranky, I thought that Macbeth had done you in (it is believed to be cursed you know).

The one in the freezer did look too clean to be the old suitemate.

This has been a long day. Ten hours in court, followed by Council meeting.

Sometimes I think that I could use a pee pad, but have resisted so far. I am waiting for the seven day Depends to hit the market.

It is seriously too late for me to be up, but I have to tell you about Macbeth. It was the best performance of the Three Weird Sisters I have ever seen. They were especially creepy and impressive. They wore white make-up, and large black pieces of material with long sticks in their hands so that they were more like bats, and wickedly waved them around in a bat-like manner, holding their mouths in serious and strange positions. The kids raved about the Weird Sisters for days.

And they did a cool thing about people being murdered--whenever someone was murdered, they pulled a long intensely red scarf out of the person to indicate the blood being shed.

It was, simply, GRUESOME.

I posted this in another thread but since y'all are talking about cats guess I can post it here also:

Kerr got a kitten and tried to teach it to speak.
Every day for six years he would recite the alphabet,
numbers and letters.

For hours and hours Kerr would say to the cat, "Repeat
after me ..." and then he would mention a word or a
sentence. He was waiting for the cat to repeat the
spoken words, but alas ... the only thing the cat did
for those six years was to look back at his 'teacher.'

And then after six years came the ultimate surprise:
the cat said, "Look out! The roof is about to cave in!"

Kerr was so Completely flabbergasted that all he
could do was stare at the cat with his mouth open.
Seconds later he was crushed by the falling roof.

The cat shook his head and said, "For six years he
tries to get me to speak. Then when I do, does he
listen?!"
