I feel like seconding Samson. I also know what you are going through kygal. I lost my Grandpa to the disease 8 years ago and my Grandma to it 2 years ago this month. It is a horrible disease and though I miss them both terribly, I am thankful they are now well and whole. 
I feel like telling you I will be praying for you and your family.
...I feel amazing. I laid down a lot of things at the altar last night that I didn't realize I was holding onto. One thing in particular was very freeing. I had forgiven this person for what they had said to me, but what they had said to me...I had let it soak into the core of my being and it was beginning to define who I was becoming, without me even knowing it. But, last night...I let go of that statement and I am going to keep going forward into the plans and the wonderful things God has for my life.

I feel like a doofus. I did not think it would be too terrible to go without inserts for my feet while running the 13.1 mile race this Sunday ... I have very high arches and need them for support, but could only find one. (I think the other is in storage.) I thought it was just one race and I could just go slow if it becomes a problem. Well ...
It was 52 degrees and we did not get a chance to warm up ... that combined with me curling my toes (which I discovered after the race was over ... I have six toe nails that are black because of bruising) to compensate for the arches caused my calf muscles to cramp within the first mile. I have never felt anything so painful. I ran/walked the first 5 miles, and could not take the pain anymore so I walked the remaining 8. I felt like I needed to finish because I was doing it to help raise money for a cause I am passionate about (outreach to young girls caught up in sex trafficking ... Atlanta is number one in the nation for childhood prostitution and sees an additional 200 to 300 girls hit the street every month).
My calf muscles are bruise ... black and blue ... I will probably loose a few toe nails and my knees are too swollen to walk properly. (I probably pulled the tendons.) But other than that it was a lot of fun ... okay not really.
Yup ... I definitely feel like a doofus.

...AMAZING! I woke up this morning to the sun shining on my face and I remembered...today is a NEW DAY! And what happened yesterday, it doesn't even matter because today I get another chance, a clean slate. Thank you my wonderful, Jesus Christ for that chance!
...ready to fight. I am tired of sitting back and letting life take me wherever it pleases. I'm going to fight for what I know God has promised me, I am going to fight for the souls of those teens that I minister to. I'm going to fight to be the woman that God wants me to be, no matter what.
...like I'm ready to go do some housework and stuff that needs done.

... happy my wrist pain has gone down a lot. I texted my ortho and he just replied it's normal to feel pain for about 2 days after the injection.
... looking forward to going to Frankfurt tonight. Now I'm invited for a Halloween party, so it will be wedding present and costume shopping time.

I feel very refreshed. I am blessed to be caught up on my reading and class assignments to a point that I had a rare opportunity to write a couple of letters to Saints who are in prison as well as reply to much of my email inbox and PM's.

Kinda scared.. I have h1n1 and I was doing better-less cough and no fever for a full day. Now I am back up to 100 temp and the cough and congestion are coming back....

But, people are always coming to me wanting to talk to me and me pray with them and I can't turn them down. God put this love for others in my heart and I have to share it. 
Because, I'm not really sad, just thoughtful and wondering where this road is going to lead me.
