Perhaps mvic could play us out with a tune from the Ballachulish Bagpipes? He was up for this last night and this would definitely make this a night to remember! You could play "Scotland the Brave" and just for tonight we could call it "mvic the Brave!"

Are you ready mvic?

How about asking the rest of us if WE are ready!

Hehehe!

Drat though... I work until 5pm PST and I have some errands I really need to get done after work... If I win anything, who will accept my award for me? Hmmmm....

If there is a monetary component, I will humbly offer my services.

Is anyone checking the entrance to this ceremony to ensure only invited people come in? Just a simple check will do: Check if the person is a friend or an enema.

With my shaved legs and NONfurry teeth, I think you will find my name on the list of friends.

Although....you never know huh?

Welcome friend. I hope you win in one category or more.

I like your avatar. (Where does the word avatar come from and what does it mean? Why not say "picture"?).

I agree with you mvic. I looked up the work avatar in the dictionary a while back and it didn't sound good.

We actually had a thread about that in Morality once (maybe more...) It's suppose to be something bad,

from onelook.com
noun: the manifestation of a Hindu deity (especially Vishnu) in human or superhuman or animal form ("The Buddha is considered an avatar of the god Vishnu")

There was a verse I ran across the other day while doing a word search on the word mouth, and I though a little while ago, it was perfect for this thread.

Proverbs 27:2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

I would say you are in very safe hands mvic. You have a lot of Christian friends who've got things covered (we don't want you getting cold)! Better if they took cover though!

5 pm PT is 7 pm CT. You should probably be able to be here for the unveiling.

This is true. The Church Triumphant, the Bride of Christ. We whom God has put His name on; we are the Blessed Ones.

You guys are my brothers and sisters in Christ, and we'll dance together in heaven! What a great day that will be!
