Thank thank you all ever so much.

My most sincere apologies to this forum. I was not aware that there was a dress code here, so i sit here in my long black satin evening gown, tasteful open-toes heels, and long black gloves, which btw, slow up the typing, cubic zirconia earrings, and just a hint of lipstick. this is how i will post from now on.

as to the poster who referred to me as he/she------this should clear that up-------

Hopefully. Today, this is not a foregone conclusion.

I didn't know there was a dress code in here .

I knew there was a reason I don't want or have a webcam.

Anyone wearing clean underwear should nominate yourselves for one category!

******CORRECTION**** voting will end, Friday at noon central time.

Thanks, sparklingsnow, I will correct Kyl#1, and sparks#8 for the next tally.

Yes, I think it would be nice if, once voting is over the winners would type a line or two.

Uh, about the bribe votes......................................................................
(that's all I'll say about that ).

Moving along, I cast a vote for SOVERIEGNISHE for most controversial #7 and actually I'll have to also give it to TRACYDOLLS for their discussion in the MATTER OF COLOR SKIN COLOR thread.

And, I was trying to figure if the category fit, but I'm voting for POPSILUFSJESUS for #5 most humourous because you are truly a likeable character.

I'd like to nominate myself for #12. Always right

Thank you.
Is it too late to change my nomination for #5?

Of course not and if anyone complains, tell them I said so.

And while you're at it, you need to nominate me for most humble, because I of course am the most humble person you know...

-----------------

I'd like to add a nomination for the people I missed in my nominations who are just way too cool for words.

And another thing ... some people post photos of themselves as avatars. I've noticed some contributors are very good looking. So how about two more categories: Best Looking and Ugliest Contributors.

I'll nominate myself for the latter. When I sent my photo to a dating agency they returned it with a note saying: "We're not that desperate!".

That should count for something surely.

What do you say MVIC, you put it up and we will decide whether is it worthy of the latter?

How can I say this ... have you heard of Cyrano de Berjerac?

Well, my nose enters a room ten minutes before I do.

May I respectfully point out that we have missed an important category: Best Dressed Contributor.

The reason I mention it is that I always ensure that I am wearing my best three-piece pinstriped suit whenever I visit these Forums. I'm always well groomed and I put on a delicate after-shave. I always wear a tie, although on occasions I have a bow tie for extra elegance. Just like a proper English gent.

On occasions (Hogmanae, Burns Night) I wear my clan's tartan kilt instead of a suit.

You'll never find me on these Forums in jeans and T-shirt, or wearing sandals. After all, you never know who you may meet whilst visiting these Forums and it is important to be impeccably attired.

Do any of you dress up before Log In on these Forums?

Really, a bow tie, a picture of pee wee herman just popped into my head.

I am afraid some here will wind up getting big heads over these nominations. To offset that though, I am sure some heads will shrink also, ie, mine.

My favorite poster who always seems able to reflect true Christian values would be LiveLoved. Many of you have given great advice to me, and many of you have annoyed the pants off me, literally, I am pantsless right now. Some more of my stupid humor for you. Pantsless isn't even a word. For now, that will be my only vote, other than the 12 nominations for myself, in all fairness. We need to try to even out the playing field a little.
