I had a smile through my tears last night...
when we were praying with the teenagers, our youth pastor's wife motioned for me to come over and pray with one of the girls, she had just found out that her mom has throat cancer and since my mom has cancer too, she wanted me to pray with her.
It was wild to be able to say I know what you feel like and I know what you are going through and I am going to be right there for you through all of this...it was like God is showing me that my trials can actually turn into building blocks for me to help others and it made me smile.
Another thing that made me smile is that this girl struggles with anorexia, and so did I a couple of years back and I was talking to her about it last night and she asked how did I know what it was like to be that way and I told her because 2 years ago, I was right there where she was at.
And while my struggling with this is not something I am proud of, I am amazed that God used it to let her open up to me, because I had been there before too.
It made me smile to see how God can use me, not because of WHO I am, but inspite of WHO I am!

I thought of another thing that made me smile last night, there is this little three-year-old who I just adore at church and she LOVES SB and she came dashing into the youth building last night and climbed up onto his lap, and it was so cute...he is so good with kids and he doesn't even try to be...and I doubt he even knows how much his gentle dispostion with them impresses me...LOL!
It was so cute when we prayed and she took her little hands and folded them over his, it made me smile!
Smiling right now, because I am just truly and completely content with my life right now, it may not be perfect, but I have learned to see through the imperfections and love the life I live and live the life I love!

I'm smiling because I was in a conversaton with a young lady about that said galaxy just today... those exact words were on our lips. How fun!

I'm smiling cuz I got to sleep in this morning and finallly have a few minutes to breath.... and see what people are smiling about....
I'm smiling cuz its Saturday! and tomorrow is Sunday!! Today (after making my house clean again) I get to go shopping with my girls, and tomorrow I get to go see a friend's place to see his 15 acres and the house he built... can't wait, it sounds beautiful

Smiling because exactly one week 'till I'm 15!!!! Me and my mom are going up to the Woodlands (awesome place for shopping!!!!) Friday and spending the night at a hotel! It's gonna be fun!

Smiling because ds decided yesterday that he wanted to make a Millenium Falcon cake!!
Kitchen was a mess, I'm sure he got egg shell in the cake...
but the cake just might resemble a space ship.... or a deranged bunny, depending on which way the cake is facing
and we had tons of fun & laughs!

Smiling as I cry, I have been thinking over the past two years today, and the memories came flooding in like a tidal wave over me, some of them memories I would love to relive and others, memories I wish I could forget...but thanking God that all of them have molded and shaped me into the young woman I am today and seeing how far God has brought me makes me SMILE!
Smiling as I am reminded that like the Skillet song "More Faithful" says- "You have been more faithful than the morning sun, You have been more faithful than knowing night will come. You have been more faithful than the changing of seasons." It makes me smile knowing no matter what happens, no matter how many times my heart breaks in two, MY GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE WILL NEVER LEAVE OR FORSAKE ME! And that my friends, is SUPER SMILE WORTHY!
