A must hear sermon for anyone who serves in the body of Christ.

This is the best message I've ever heard Driscoll preach. He can be spot on when he focuses on exegeting the truth of God's word from what the Scripture says rather than translating it through what his doctrine teaches.

Bro, thanks for the link, but the comment was quite ironic seeing it's about being humble and, well, where's the humility in your comment about Driscoll?

One is unable to "humbly" state the truth? I feel humble every time I listen to him since I disagree so much doctrinally with him I couldn't even listen to him occasionally if I didn't approach the experience with a humble heart.

Are you sure it's humility that you feel? Or you feel smug that he's finally agreeing with what you believe to be the correct interpretation of the scriptures?

He is a very good preacher. He is not an Exegete. Am I being smug? Perhaps. Then again if I were truly only being smug in my personal assessment of MD's theology then I imagine I'd be too proud to even listen to any of his broadcasts. Just my 2 cents.

And kids for those of you watching at home this little exchange is a perfect example of two people who are so opinionated they could never be more than friends.

If we were an actual couple we would always either be hiking, hugging, or she'd be over my knee!

Opinionated? I've been called many things, but I don't think I've ever been called opinionated. I'm not sure what the rest of your blurb meant!

Speakign of great messages, Mark Driscolls is doing a 3 year long series on the gospel according to Luke and including a lot of footage from his recent trip to Israel. It's quite good to understand the historical context of a lot of the things and events that were mentioned during the new testament times. Luke
